Before the show's debut, 4 singles were made to showcase the songs included in the musical, and were paired with another song in each as well. They were recorded with the initial original cast (including Noa). These include the following:

Cast Recording (Highlights)[]
This CD was a proof-of-concept album for the show and includes the original actor for Esmeralda, Noa, and retains the remaining original cast (Garou, Daniel Lavoie, Bruno Pelletier, Patrick Fiori, Luck Mervil, and Julie Zenatti). It contains 16 songs from both acts but are not in chronological order with the show. It was released on CD and cassette.

A complete, 2-disc recording of the original cast was released on CD and cassette in 1998. This was the first media to feature Helene Segara as Esmeralda, who replaced Noa from the concept album.

Classical Version[]
An orchestral Notre Dame de Paris highlights album was produced in 1999 conducted by Rudolf Werthen and performed by the orchestra group I Fiamminghi, also known as I Fiamminghi, the Orchestra of Flanders, which Werthen founded. It was released with both French and English titles on separate CD releases. The recording of Le Val d'Amour was only released on the French version for unknown reasons.

Las Vegas Recording[]
The Las Vegas cast recording released in 2000 with the original cast. It was a 2-disc album and, like its show, omitted several songs from the original set.
Original London Cast (Highlights and Singles)[]
The London cast album was released on February 21, 2000 on CD and cassette. It features a rendition of Live (for the One I Love) by singer Celine Dion. Along with this album, a single was released featuring Belle (Is The Only Word) and Cast Away. 4 original cast members (Garou, Daniel Lavoie, Bruno Pelletier and Luck Mervil) reprised their roles from 1998. The Bells includes only Quasimodo's part of the song for unknown reasons.

Live Mogador 2001[]
A complete, 2-disc album recording was created in 2001 of the French performance of Notre Dame at the Mogador Theatre in France and was released in November of the same year[2]. A correction is provided in the album contents for the incorrect placements of Je Reviens Vers Toi, La Monture, Etre Pretre Et Aime Un Femme, and Phoebus.
Italian Studio Version[]
Released before the debut at Gran Teatro in Rome on 14 March 2002, It includes the seven members of the original cast (Lola Ponce, Giò Di Tonno, Vittorio Matteucci, Matteo Setti, Graziano Galatone, Marco Guerzoni, Claudia D'Ottavi) and the tracklist is similar to the French studio version released in 1997.
